The palace where sorceresses train young wizards in the ways of magic(known as Han) in
Terry Goodkind
's
Sword of Truth
series.
The palace got its name by the fact that they hold several hundred documents of prophecy in it underground library, and holds the prophets that create them. Since the learning process takes hundreds of years, a spell was cast by the ancient

s to slow aging almost to a halt for all the inhabitants of the gigantic palace.

is taken here against his will by one of the Sisters of Light to be trained in
Stone of Tears
. In the nearby Hagen Woods is where Richard killed a

and took its cape as a prize. A great deal of both
