A portable MP3 player manufactured by Creative Labs. It comes standard with 64MB of internal memory, and is upgradeable via SmartMedia. The average battery life is 9 hours. It supports both MP3 and WMA sound formats, and is firmware upgradeable for future formats. One of the most distinguishing features of the Nomad II MG is its docking cradle--a cradle that charges and transfers music to the Nomad. Outside of playing MP3s, the Nomad II MG is able to record through its internal microphone and tune into FM radio broadcasts. Currently, Creative Labs is developing a wired remote control that gives the Nomad easier to push buttons, a larger LCD, and a better microphone.
