Muwahahahaha!

The sound of evil laughter. Only a true megalomaniac can get it right. It's important that you have an odd number of syllables (in this case, the "Muwa" is pronounced as one syllable.) The H sound is silent. It works best if you have a deep voice and Russian accent.

Also known as mwuhahaha, muahahaha, and variations on these, with spaces and differents amounts of hahas. The generic evil laugh, often derisive or satisfied (evil goals have been achieved). Mwuhahahas are effective if used at a random places in a conversation or chat, and it is best to practise your maniacal intonation pattern first! In a chat conversation, always MWUHAHAHA in CAPITALS For an example of how NOT to mwuhahaha, see Dr Evil in an Austin Powers movie.

wertperch says: It's all about the resonance. That subtle interplay of belly, diaphragm and an open throat are vital. Personally, I prefer to employ the "shaking shoulders" in combination with a higher pitch, although a basso profundo oft works well on the telephone instrument.
