Murderer's Bible

A 1801 version of the Bible that came out with a couple of funny typos, so that the verse
  • these are murmurers ... let the children first be filled
came out as
  • these are murderers ... let the children first be killed
Unsurprisingly, this mistake was not found to be funny at all and this edition of the Bible was retired from commerce.
