Roger Corman's 1960 film, A Bucket Of Blood, Walter Paisely (played by Dick Miller) busses tables at a pretentious
beatnick coffee house. His dreams of being an artist take shape when he accidently kills a cat, covers it with
plaster and names the creation 'Dead Cat'. It becomes an instant hit and Walter reels from his newfound recognition. When a narcotics officer attempts to frame him for possesion of '
H', Walter panics and kills the cop with a rather large frying pan. After covering the
narc with plaster, he's ready to show his masterpiece at
open mike night - Murdered Man.
