A vehicle mounted weapons system that fires salvos of rockets at a distant target. The rockets contain small bomblets or mines, and are chiefly used in anti-personnel and anti-vehicle roles .

These can be seen operating in videos of the Persian Gulf Distraction, where dozens of rockets streak out of a vehicle mounted pod in several seconds. In my opinion these are horrible, horrible weapons, akin to cluster bombs.
