| This is one of the better personal web servers. It was shipped with Frontpage 97, and 98 (look in the \pws\enu folder for the setup file). While it is still very 'dumbed down' it does have its high points. You can add users and give other people permission to author or administer webs from remote locations, and it can handle a good amount of traffic (for a small office maybe). You should never use it for 'real world' applications or hosting an even half way busy site. This pws can't handle asp without the asp.exe upgrade from a FrontPage CD, but once you install it, it should do its job without much hassle. |
