An old time professional wrestler, manager, and announcer. It is in the latter role with the WWF for which I remember him most. He's still alive, though he's confined to a wheelchair due to spinal problems incurred during his professional wrestling days.

Lord Alfred Hayes has a slightly raspy, soft voice that made him sound really British. Very much the same accent as William Regal. I'm not sure Lord Alfred Hayes is really British, though.

Hayes, with "Mean" Gene Okerlund made up the announcing duo for the WWF for much of the early 80's. He also managed Sgt. Slaughter when he was starting out.

He has held the NWA Western States Heavyweight Belt.

He currently lives in retirement in Texas with his family.
