Lockeed (now known as the Lockheed Martin Corporation) was an aerospace corporation that does business primarily with the US government. Many of the modern space shuttle, airplane, and rocket components were designed by Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed is no longer just an aerospace company. While aerospace remains the bulk of the business, Lockheed has branched out into companies that include maintaining mission critical computer systems for branches of the Armed Forces.
