The Lady is the ruler of the city of Sigil in the Planescape setting for AD&D. She is seldom seen, and is an true unknown quantity. Some say she is a goddess, others the embodiment of pain, others a mortal adventurer or some demon or angel. She appears infrequently, and seems to be a tall, androgynous, levitating figure whose face is ringed with blades.
