Kids cut the salamanders' tails off

created by pukesick

(idea) by pukesick (4.9 d) (print)   ?   (I like it!) Sun Nov 14 1999 at 9:08:18

They are fascinated. How can the tail still move after it has been disconnected from the body? Its like an arm flopping around grabbing things if it was removed from a person. Impossible, yet happening before their eyes. Does it occur to them that it is cruel? Is it innocent curiosity, or perhaps the unique and sometimes chilling cruelty of children?
