The theory that staying awake will prevent the coming of the morrow. Follows directly from the postulate "it is not morning until I wake up." (ssd)
This theory may help explain why so many college students pull all-nighters. Since their project is presumeably due the next day, it may feel like staying up and working will prevent the deadline from arriving. Which is unfortunate, since many could benefit from some sleep before continuing work.
It is also important to note that believing that tomorrow never comes is a sign of sociopathy: the basic feature of which is one's not understanding, or not believing in, the consequences of one's actions. This is more distinct in the more literal and depressing expression of this phenomenon as one's not wanting to sleep so the next day won't start.
