A derogatory statement often made by a hardware engineer, when referring to the fact that a software engineer's bugs are usually less painful to fix.

Hardware engineering is further complicated by the rigorous verification methods and timing requirements of designing high-speed circuits. Because of this, most hardware types have a bigger ego about their job.
