Icefall is the planet on which the city of
Neverness is situated. The planet orbits a star called
Sawel, which is a
G2 star in our current classification system. Icefall is a very
cold planet, with almost perpetual winter-like weather; light snows, heavy snows, and anything inbetween percipitates down onto the surface throughout the various seaons. Aside from the various inhabitants of the city, Neverness, there exist many tribes of
Alaloi, humans who long ago broke the
Laws of the Civilized Worlds and reverse-
mutated their genes, becoming, essentially,
cave-people.
