I survived my senior year of high school english writing haikus in my journal each day. For some reason, my teacher thought they were really funny, and I got good grades while the rest of the class actually worked on their journals and got B's. Now, I'm no writer by any means, and I'm less of a poet, but this little snippet I wrote makes me chuckle every time.
