Actually, the
lineage
has more or less passed on to
Lam Chun Fai
already. Lam Chun Fai recently made a tour of the
U.S.
as the
grandmaster
of Hung Gar, leading seminars at various
Kung Fu
academies such as
Calvin Chin's
(http://www.calvinchin.com). But although the title has passed on,
Lam Cho
continues to be active in Hung Gar, practicing the
Iron Wire Fist Form
daily.

Hung Hei Guen also learned from Fang Yung-chun, who later became his
wife
. It was by combining his training in
Tiger
form and Fang's training in Crane form that Hung achieved a
balance
between hard and soft, and so began Hung Gar.
Hung Gar seems to be the
quintessential
union, the fierce Tiger's awesome
power
and direct attack are subtly entwined with the Crane's elegance and fluidity. The harmonious union of hard and soft elements shows itself in the flow and balance of the practitioner, the forming almost seems
