How to display the second hand on a digital clock radio

A surprisingly large proportion of clock radios appear to use the same chipset, because most of the brands I've seen contain the same undocumented feature which allows you to see how many seconds you are into the current minute. I'll let you in on the secret:

Hold down the SLEEP and ALARM buttons simultaneously. The digital display will change to a single two-digit number, which counts up from 0 to 59 and is the clock radio's hidden second hand.

I was irrationally excited when I discovered this, as were many of my geek friends and the denizens of alt.hackers when I told them. Getting off on an electronic triviality such as this seems to be the sign of a true nerd.
