Similar to, yet far less contentious than, The pop/soda/Coke debate (debate being probably too strong a word). People who have driven around the country have no doubt noticed the following:

On the East Coast they are called highways
On the West Coast they are called freeways
And In the Midwest they are called trafficways.

You'd do well to remember that last one, so the sign that says "Omaha Tfcwy" doesn't confuse the hell out of you
