I used these chips to make
Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookies
. Curious after I had eaten, say, half the bag, I looked at the
ingredient
s list. It doesn't list
cinnamon
. What the hell happened here??
Ingredients:
sugar; nonfat milk; blend of
vegetable oil
s (contains partially hydrogenated palm kernel and
soy
bean oils); refined palm kernel oil; contains 2% or less of the
following
: artificial coloring (includes
yellow 5
lake; yellow 6 lake; and blue 2 lake); cornstarch; natural and artificial flavorings; salt; and soya lecithin, an
emulsifier
.
You would think that they would actually include cinnamon in the ingredients if it was one of the "natural flavorings" included. It doesn't. No big sticker saying, "Made with REAL cinnamon!" on the front of the bag, either. I feel taken advantage of. Bah.
