Doesn't Genesis say: "...and it was good"? Maybe there was a "doubleplusgood" in there too, after Y*hw*h hacked the world "in six days". I don't recall mention of "perfect", and all perfection was lost via Adam and Eve anyway. If all on the planet were perfect, it would be Heaven or Eden - in fact, nothing here is perfect.

Anyone complaining about "shoddy workmanship" should go and create a universe better than this one. Those who can, do. The rest just kvetch and kibitz.
