1925 US. Fluxus composer and performance artist. One of the fathers of conceptual art and Minimalist Visual Art. He was very fond of creating Instruction pieces. One of his more famous pieces is called "Water Yam" which is a box of Instruction pieces on seperate pieces of paper. One is asked to pick the pieces out one at a time. Studied under John Cage in his New School for Social Research. He worked with Alan Kaprow on the Happenings of that time. Worked with Nam June Paik on various collaborative pieces. Currently he resides in Cologne.
