The idiot who had a giant website detailing a multitude of reasons why the world was going to go to hell in a handbasket because of y2k. It encouraged people to stock up on foodstuffs, supplies, etc., and basically get the hell out of dodge. It _looked_ well-documented, but I did notice that the guy never had any opinions of real computer scientists. His forums were a riot right before and for a month or two after January rolled around.
