| A somewhat mythical bone rumoured to be located around the elbow area. Legend states that it is impossible to find when you are actively looking for it, and can only be located by jamming your arm into a hard object when you are least expecting it. When the funny bone is touched, a tingling sensation shoots up and down the arm, making one want to scream, cry, and giggle all at the same time. A bizarre experience, much like the indescribable weirdness of sneezing.
Also part of a hokey catch phrase. "That sure tickled my funny bone!" This funny bone may, or may not refer to the original funny bone. Ironically enough, the funny bone really isn't that funny. |
