A phrase coined by former Canadian Prime Minister, Rt. Honourable Pierre Elliot Trudeau in lieu of saying "fuck".

When in the Parliament one day, Mr Trudeau used the oath "Mother Fucker!", fortunately (?) out of earshot of the media. When later asked what it was that he'd said so fervently, he said , "why, Fuddle Duddle of course". The media weren't fooled, and pressing him on the matter and how inappropriate it was, the Prime Minister further remarked, "what kind of job is this where one can't even say Fuddle Duddle?" What a guy. Imagine a politician doing that NOW!
