Forwarded Email hoaxes

Content is usually:

a wonderful prize from Microsoft/Disneyland/God just for putting your shoes on.
a horrific warning of the dangers of children frolicing in fast food chain's playgrounds
a sad sad sad sad sad tale of a sick boy who would just like this sad sad sad sad sad tale forwarded to those closest to sender's heart.

There is no escape from Forwarded Email Hoaxes (FEH). If you try to educate the sender of the blatant discrepencies of said FEH, somehow your very reply will become a hoax, or --worse-- turned into one of those damn email jokes, which are then resent to you from every contact you have online. If you ignore the sender, they will send a Real Live Person by to see if you have become a victim of Apathetic Chain Email Curses.

The only respite from FEH, TDEJ and ACEC, is to either never give your email address to relatives or old high school chums, or to propagate the notion that email hoaxes are real.
