Allergy Safe Recipes
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 cup unsifted flour
1/2 t. salt
1/4 cup cocoa
1 t. baking soda
1 T. lemon juice (or 1 tsp. vinegar)
1/3 cup oil
1 t. vanilla
1 cup cold water
Mix ingredients in order. Pour into ungreased square 8 inch pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes. A double recipe is about right for a bundt pan, for a more festive looking cake.
