Desert in the Arabian peninsula located at the south eastern quadrant, apparently called the empty quarter because it takes 1/4th the size of the peninsula. Arabic name is: Al Rub'a Al Khali.

Music project by Youth (Killing Joke) and Ben Watkins (Juno Reactor)

The name "Empty Quarter" was the title of an album (released in 1984), not a band name as such (The sleeve says "The Youth And Ben Watkins: Empty Quarter")

The album was originally meant to be the soundtrack for a play and Youth later claimed that this was his first Industrial music album.
