| DreamSNES
DreamSNES is an port of the open-source SNES emulator SNES9x for Sega Dreamcast. The port was done by Marcus Comstedt, Peter Bortas, and Per Hedbor. The project has not been updated since the release of .98 on October 31, 2002. However, it currently runs most games at or better than 80% speed with sound enabled. While not perfect,it supports many popular (and obscure) games and is fast enough to enjoy your favorite SNES RPG.

Tutorials are available for burning bootable discs with ROM s so that you don't have to swap discs after the menu loads. Also, many tools are available for automating this process, and even creating ROM lists for you.
DreamSNES is one of the most popular and enduring emulators for Dreamcast, even though it has yet to reach full-speed. If you have a Dreamcast sitting around, but don't feel like playing through Gauntlet Legends for the 8th time, spend a little bit of time and get DreamSNES running, and put your Dreamcast back to work. Even at 80% speed, the considerable number of SNES games playable at this speed could really change your mind about tossing out the old Dreamcast.
