Born December 15, 1949 in Flatt Creek, Mo. He got into acting after two years of attendance at the University of Kansas, and at the age of 20, starred in his first film, The Magic Garden of Stanley Sweetheart (1970).
Three years later he starred in the cult classic A boy and his Dog. He worked frequently through the 1970's, doing a few TV films and failed television pilots, most of them cop shows. After 15 years of acting a certain cop show made him a household name and boosted his career, he starred as Detective James "Sonny" Crockett in Miami Vice.
He currently stars in the television show Nash Bridges. |
