| London-based duo Kevin Clark and Don Weekes(who had previously worked with Coldcut). Funky rap/hiphop/acid fusion with jangly happy guitars and guest soul singers. Their album Love and Life made it big in 1991/2, with the single Wear Your Love Like Heaven making the top 10. Shortly after that their record company, Cardiac, folded. There were two subsequent albums, The Lick and Experience, which failed to impress the public as much as their earlier stuff. |
