| Comino ("Kemmuna" in Maltese), island in the Mediteranean sea, part of the Maltese Islands. It is the smallest of the three major islands that make up the archipelago, which consists of Malta, Gozo("Ghawdex" in Maltese) and Comino. Other islands in the chain are Filfla and Cominetto. |
