Clumsy and Befuddled

Clumsy and Befuddled Cocktail

also called a "CnB"

This is a drink of my own invention. It helps if you like bitter tastes; I do. The recipe follows. Let me know what you think of the drink, but only after you've tried it! (Assuming you are of legal drinking age in your locale).

• 2 oz. Bacardi 151 Rum (this is the "Clumsy" part -- it'll make you clumsy, I promise)
• 1 oz. Campari liqueur (this is the "Befuddled" part -- Campari can't make up its mind about whether it wants to taste like the sweet nectar of a mythical fruit, or the hard rind of a melon that won't be ripe for another year. It's deceptively sweet, with a violently bitter aftertaste. I love it.)


Now here are the 'inert' ingredients:


• Splash of Rose's lime juice
• Splash of club soda

Combine ingredients over ice in an "Old-Fashioned glass" (also called a "rocks glass"). Agitate gently with a spoon. Garnish with lime. Imbibe.
