Chelmsford, Massachusetts

Chelmsford, Massachusetts is my hometown. (Don't stalk me.) There is also a Chelmsford in England, which is where this town got its name.

every little unremarkable suburb has its own claim to fame; here are some of chelmsford's:

• Home of the first match factory in America.
• Generally has the best football team in Middlesex County, MA
• High school has an excellent math department - the calculus textbook was co-written by Mr. Pasquale, who teaches (taught?) math there.
• Home to headquarters (or regional HQs) of several large technology corporations - Sun Microsystems, Cisco Systems, MediaOne, and others.
• Once had a problem with a ballooning beaver population, which the town decided to combat by sending out animal control officers to capture and neuter male beavers. i shit you not.
