The Center for New Music and Audio Techniques (CNMAT) is a Berkeley based studio focusing on electronic music and techniques for generating music using computers and related devices. CNMAT is affiliated with the University of California, Berkeley, and offers several courses each semester, with subjects ranging from general techniques, to learning the programming languages involved, to musical perception, for students who are thus inclined.
