For any part of New York City proper I have visited, I will see a diner. The name "Café Mozart" sounds like they would serve coffee and cakes but not something as hearty as a steak and French Fries, but they serve more than cakes and coffee. This restaurant has a warm and lively setup, and small tables all around.
I had the steak frites (steak and fries), and the steak was cooked medium rare. Well, it was a bit closer to medium but I guess they erred on the side of caution.
One special treat for folks not going out too soon (unlike me, going to the Emelin Theatre a few blocks away) is the live classical music performances in the restaurant. Hmmm... If I have the time, I'll be there for an evening show. |
