Bots Master - A cartoon that aired worldwide between 1992 and 1993.
It followed the story of a young genius, Ziv Zulander, who created robots which had artificial intelligence, and could feel emotions and pain. Zulander and his little sister, Blitzy, and his sporting bots (Street BOYZZ) became freedom fighters to try and stop world domination by the RM Corp. Zulander was a member of the Corp until he learned of the plans to create thinking bots as everyday slaves and have control over the world.
Even though the show only aired for one season, it still has a loyal following of fans, who mainly congregate at the only Bots Master fan site (just do a search in a search engine for more information).
Bots Master was a revolutionary cartoon, as it incorporated a few minutes of 3D action in each episode, which (if you did not have the proper BM glasses) looked completely normal.
Its low ratings were probably caused by its 6:30am time slot on television, and also many viewers did not understand the cue "Lazer Time BOYZZ!" to put on 3D glasses and the end cue "Game Over BOYZZ!". |
