| Amen Corner is the name of the eleventh, twelfth and thirteenth holes at Agusta National Golf Club - the site where the Masters is played every year.
Herbert Wind, a writer for Sports Illustrated, took the term from a jazz album title. He wanted a term to describe the area of the course where most of the action had taken place when Arnold Palmer won the Masters for the first time in 1958.
The group consists of a 455 yard par 4 named "White Dogwood", the famous 155 yard par three called "Golden Bell" and a 485 yard par 5 named "Azalea".
