Αλεβιων

The son of Poseidon, he lived in Liguria with his brother Dercynus. When Heracles passed through their country with the herds of oxen which he was bringing back from his expedition against Geryon the brothers tried to take the oxen away from him. The two thieves were both killed by Heracles. (See also Ligys).
