10 Speed

10 speed was a generic term for a sport bike with 10 speeds. This was back in the days when you could not get more than 10 speeds on a bike. Back then I would often refer to my bike as my 10 speed. Today with 12, 15, 18, or more gears available on a bike the term is outdated.
