warez were the epitome of
31337 in the
good ol' days, when software was still spread one machine to another over
modems and
bbss. Basically it was a term for brand new
pirated software, that had been out for less than a day. Anybody who's ever used 2400 baud, would immediately realize that to get 0-day you would have to be at the top of the
warez totem pole
