Éomer Éadig, Son of
Éomund, was the first of the
Third Line of Kings in
Rohan. He was the nephew ("
sister-son") of King
Théoden, whom he succeeded upon his death at the
Battle of the Pelennor Fields. Éomer survived the
War of the Ring, and his sister,
Éowyn, was wed to
Faramir, prince of
Ithilien under
Elessar.
